Sunday Night is HD Night!  XG is happy to present XBox LIVE HD, sponsored by iGames in partnership with Microsoft.  Each Sunday Night not only are we playing in the IGames Rainbow 6 Vegas 2 Ladder, Players and spectators can check out the High Definition Movies and TV shows as well as downloadable games, themes and other addons available right now in the XBox Marketplace!  Sunday, May 18th we will be screening the HD version of "I Am Legend" as well as giving away some Xbox Live goodies.  You can also play the a couple games from the Live Arcade, Marble Blaster Ultra, Worms and Bomberman Live.  Make your plans to come in today!  Movie time will be around 8:30-9pm!

The Club Launch Party

New Year's Eve "No Frills" All-Nighter

XG will be open til 8am, Monday Dec 31st / Jan 1st.  $11 gets you our standard Monday All-Day pass from 2pm to Midnight, another $11 gets you until 8am, or $20 gets you all 18 hours!  Bring your own Pizza or other New Year's Snacks and goodies, grab a friend and game all night!

During the night we will be running 2 tournament events.  The top player in COD4 Deathmatch will receive a Creative Labs Fatal1ty Mouse and the winner of our second tournament (game determined by players in attendance) will win a copy of Shadowrun!

This Saturday, December 22th, XG will be participating in the qualifiying portion of IGames Age of Empires III: The Asian Dynasties 1v1 $3K National Tournament.  Up to 12 players can compete on Saturday with each player receiving a Limited Edition Asian Dynasties T-Shirt!  Players who advance through the qualifier will play Sunday for CASH in a double elimination tournament.  You are guaranteed $75 for 16th place and you can win $750 for 1st Place!

Universe at War Launch Party and Skirmish

Saturday, September 8th, XG and XFX will be hosting a CS:Source Double Elimination LAN tournament.  Up to 8 teams will compete for a chance to participate in the National Online Tournament, Sunday September 9th with CASH, XFX and NVidia Prizes up for grabs!!!  $150 Entry fee per team to participate!

Team Registration (for those who did not prepay) will be at 10am Saturday, the first round of matches will begin at 10:30am.  Personal mice and keyboards are allowed, but Headphones must be USB driven to be allowed during tournament play.

IGames hosted a 4v4 Shadowrun launch tournament sponsered by Microsoft and Dell Sunday afternoon.  Crushing the competition to secure 1st place, the XG team wins ~$8k in prizes including a top of the line Dell computer for the store and 4 XBox 360s with lots of goodies.    Congratz!

The future of gaming is here at XG.  We've upgraded 4 computers to include some of the latest technology, a high speed dual core processor, 2 gigs of Ram, 22" Widescreen display and, pushing the pixels, is a brand new 8800GTS video card!  There is a small additional fee to play on these new rigs, $1 on the price of a daypass or other daily special, however, no additional charge for our hourly patrons.  Come give them a whirl!

Xtreme Gaming would like to congratulate our 2, 8 man, teams that participated in the IGames Battlefield 2 league that started up over the summer and ended a few weeks ago.  Team XG, consisting mainly of Armed&Hammered, BillDarius, Shovelor, MrFurious, Liquid Ice, Ohs04dv, Tomato and a host of substitutes including Bradman, Vtec, and Akrismo,  came in 2nd place (with a close match in the finals) winning 4 P4 3.6 Processors and 4 Intel 925x Motherboards, all in all about $2500 worth of prizes.  Team Xtreme, consisting of Pic, Pretz, Rico, Pionex, Rattlesnake, Fuz, Shadowmoses and LandOctupus, placed 4th after a narrow loss to Team XG in the semi-finals.  They pick up a new ZBoard with the BF2 inset.  Congrats to everyone!

The new BF2: Special Forces league will be gearing up pretty soon on Monday nights.  Hope to see you all there!
